The ferries depart from the port of Agios Nikolaos in the north of the island, with two ferries a day in the summer. The trip lasts about one hour and cars can travel on the ferry, but if you have hired a car or motorbike you may need to check that your rental agreement allows you to take the vehicle off the island.
