In the unlikely event of fire, for your own safety there are several points to note.

On arrival, familiarize yourself with the emergency exit routes. Read any safety information in your room. Make a note of the nearest fire extinguisher and how to raise the alarm in case of fire. If your escape route appears to be clear, leave your room immediately. Do not stop to pack or collect personal belongings. Do not use the lifts. Stay calm and do not panic. Exit the building as quickly as possible, closing all doors behind you.
