Introducing our side-splitting special edition video, "Winter Vacation in Greece," brought to you straight from the backstage of our winter downtime, courtesy of the one and only artist Amalia Andersone.

Picture this: an empty Zakynthos island, a closed hotel, and a whole lot of quirky charm. That's right, folks! While our doors may be shut during the winter season, the fun never stops behind the scenes, especially when Amalia Andersone is involved!

The inspiration for this video was sparked by the incredible Amalija Andersone, who spent a few winter months staying at the empty Meandros Boutique & Spa Hotel. 

Embracing the serenity of the season, she crafted several captivating art paintings, among them the mesmerising "Puta Amore."
This particular masterpiece exudes a unique charm, showcasing the delightful presence of our beloved hotel cats, Naki and Skinny B, who added their own playful essence to the canvas. 

The funny short movie "Winter Vacation in Greece," created in the style of Wesley Wales Anderson's, shows an empty Zakynthos Island and the scenes of a closed hotel during winter on Zakynthos. It gives a special look at how the place changes and gives you an exclusive chance to look at the backstage scenes of the Meandros Boutique & Spa Hotel. 

But wait, there's more! Joining Amalia on screen is her alter ego, Dimitirs Papadakis, a character inspired by a real prototype in Zakynthos. From the bartender of a Meandros Boutique & Spa Hotel who could talk with such fascinating charm and self-confidence with an unlit cigarette in the corner of his mouth. 

The short movie captured by the talented Giovanni Censore, this short film is a testament to the creativity and humour that thrive even in the quietest moments. So, grab your popcorn, gather your friends (or feline companions), and get ready to chuckle your way through "Winter vacation in Greece''
